The names of over 90,000 men women and children who lost their lives or were injured between 1850 and 1914 are listed on this site. I am working on the entries from the REGISTER OF ACCIDENTS 1914 onwards and the total number of entries is now approx. 166,000 |

These lists have come from many and varied sources and in many cases the information they contain is incomplete, just a year, name and colliery.
As of May 2002 I am working on a large official archive of mining deaths and injuries from 1914 to the present day and these lists will be updated on a monthly basis.
